Think this is cool? Well guess what - these 3 little performances were after an HOUR of already swinging, snatching, and pressing these kettlebells around. EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE! 🤯

Everybody did SO awesome, and I'm thrilled we were able to continue pressing these bells above our heads in order to get these cool videos! 💪

Let's FLOW! In this class we will learn choreographed kettlebell movements to Dua Lipa's "Physical". 🏋️‍♀️💃

We will take it slow and weave together the movements until we are confident enough to perform the routine as a group. You can opt in or out of a recorded performance at the end, and you will be given an extra half hour afterward if you would like to record yourself doing the routine solo or with a smaller group!

🫶 That being said, if you're a bit apprehensive, we do have some suggestions for classes to start with:

🟣 Lift: This lighter weight/higher repetition weightlifting class focuses on isolating different major muscle groups. You'll learn a couple of moves that will repeat several times throughout the length of a song, and you can start as light as you'd like! This is a great class to learn some classic isolation lifts in a fun setting.

🔵 Pilates (Strength or Burn): Pilates is a core workout that is super modifiable. There are always several options to get through the moves, and everything is incredibly safe! Minimal equipment is used, and you'll be given lots of options to make it "burn" less or more.

(Don't go thinking these classes are JUST for beginners - you'll get your work in no matter what level you're at!)

Short answer - For everyone's safety. 🛑

🤠 We are a small team of trainers, and are usually on our feet teaching in the back. We are only at the front desk before a class begins to get you signed and settled in!

Because of this, our door unlocks 15mins before class start time (10mins for early morning classes), and locks 5mins after class has begun. This is to ensure that only our class members are coming in, and that we can relax and enjoy class safely once it begins!

This also ensures that our Open Gym members (who have lock access at all times) can work out at any hour without fear of intruders in our space. 🌜🌞

We understand that folks would like to come in, chat, and take a look around before signing up for a class. If that sounds like you, just send us an email (lafemmestrong@gmail.com) and we'll find a time to make that happen! 🫶

🤗 Want a workout that is truly accessible for everyone, regardless of your "level" or strength? There are SO many ways to make Pilates moves easier or more challenging, it's really a workout for EVERY BODY.

I admit, I (Sydney) didn't try it for a long time. The main reason why: "Pilates Body". I hate this term. But, I heard it a lot in advertising, and I assumed I needed to be super thin and wearing a matching Lululemon set to be acceptable. 😮‍💨🙄

It turns out: NOT TRUE. 🤯

🫶 I have learned SO much from my Pilates colleagues. And we have worked hard to make sure our environment is not one that will make you feel like you need to look a certain way, or move at a certain level.
